She says thicker material gives bodycon outfits a firmer structure. “Choose hues like black, mocha, grey or tan if you aren’t feeling too confident. If you like lighter shades, go for neutral tones such as nude and sand,” she advises.
Accessorise it right!
While it’s important to pay attention to details like texture and thickness of the fabric, accessories are super important too, for, fashion is about being playful in your choices without going totally overboard. “When styling a bodycon dress, I always recommend pairing it with a chic, compact clutch. The sleek design not only complements the dress’s curves but also adds an elegant touch to the overall look,” says Poonam Adhikari, head designer at Lino Perros. “For those who love a bit of sparkle, a bejewelled or metallic clutch can elevate the ensemble and make it pop. Alternatively, a mini crossbody bag is perfect for practicality, allowing you to keep your essentials close without detracting from your fabulous silhouette.”
