Their Mediterranean food fest last month left Hyderabadis and their guests craving for more. This month, they are back with yet another cuisine and so well suited for the rainy season, may we add?

The mildly spicy, yet flavorful Magadh cuisine is made with basic ingredients. One meal that best captures the spirit of Magadh cuisine is sattu, one of the staples. A mixture of sattu filled inside wheat balls and baked with ghee is served with mildly spicy mashed potato, green chilli, garlic, roasted tomato and brinjal called chokha.

No wonder then that the Food Exchange’s latest offering is rightfully named, ‘Litti meets Chokha’, which unveils the timeless and spice-infused delights of Magadh.

Besides the lavish spread, on offer at this food extravaganza are some lip-smacking delicacies of the Magahis– sattu sharbat, champaran mutton, litti chokha, dal puri, chana ghugni, Darbhanga machi tikka, Bihari bhuna maas, tilkut, kadhi badi, mutton kebab and parwal mithai.
