Palate Pleasers: Healthy Smoothies
Smoothies or fruit shakes, if made properly, condense large amounts of fruits and vegetables into one compact and tasty drink, good enough for a healthy breakfast.
They can provide everything you need-protein, healthy fats, vegetables and fruits. If you find your smoothies too sweet, try this trick: Instead of flavoured almond milk or yogurt, blend one banana and a handful of frozen strawberries with orange juice to get a thick, creamy, balanced citrus drink.
