Hyderabad: The much-anticipated Dakshin Dinner event is set to take place on June 19th, offering a unique culinary experience that celebrates the vibrant flavors of South India, perfectly complemented by an exclusive selection of fine select beverages. Hosted at ITC Kakatiya, the Dakshin Dinner will feature a curated menu that showcases the rich and diverse culinary traditions of South India. Guests will be treated to a gastronomic journey through an array of authentic dishes, each thoughtfully paired with a premium whiskey to enhance the dining experience. The menu will feature a variety of traditional dishes, including regional specialties and innovative interpretations that honor the heritage and diversity of South Indian cooking.

Chef Muthuraman’s Selection Menu Includes: A tantalizing array of traditional starters, including KodiGajaala a spicy preparation of chicken with onion and green chillies and VazhaiShunti Golden fried dumplings of spiced raw banana hash, a speciality of Thanjavur. Main Course: Delectable main courses featuring BorkacheIndad Mutton curry in a special blend of spices and potatoes, GuttiVankaiKoora Stuff brinjal curry with select spices, and other regional specialties. Desserts: An exquisite selection of southern sweets like ElaneerPaysam Tender kernels of coconut in cardamom flavoured coconut milk and Badam Halwa A dense confection made of almond paste, ghee and sugar. A select artisanal beverage will accompany each course, offering guests a perfect balance of flavours and an enhanced dining experience. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the art of whiskey pairing from industry experts and chefs, enhancing their appreciation of both the food and the spirits.
