Now you can kiss menstrual cramps a sweet goodbye by nibbling some good old chocolate. A Swiss-based company, Chocolate With Love, claims to have come up with a chocolate bar that will help alleviate the suffering of women when they are on their periods.
The chocolate – called ‘Frauenmond’ – means ‘women’s moon’ in English. It is made from 60 percent cocoa and also contains 17 different kinds of herbs. The sweet combines the pain-fighting herbs with the chemicals serotonin and theobromine (found in cocoa) to reportedly provide comfort to suffering women.
