Allergic reactions while having sex can be hard to point out since some symptoms such as heavy breathing, higher heart rate and sweating are seen as common side effects of sex. Something in the environment causing the immune system to respond abnormally may be responsible for sex allergies.

If these allergies are left unattended, they can get worse with time and have an adverse effect on a person’s sex life. Wheezing, itching, hives, vaginal burning, swelling, vomiting, blistering and even loss of consciousness are symptoms caused by allergy to sex.

One might experience allergy symptoms right after having sex with a new person and this may be caused by their semen. Feeling sick after orgasms is also included in the list of things that indicate sex allergies.
