Excerpts

Acting apart, you are also a fashion icon. What inspires your fashion choices?

I have always believed that fashion transcends traditional gender boundaries. Over the years, I have embraced styles and elements traditionally associated with women’s fashion, such as delicate fabrics, vibrant colours, and intricate jewelry. This fusion allows me to express my individuality and challenges conventional norms. Collaborating with my stylist, Vrinda Narang, has been instrumental in curating looks that resonate with my personal style and the diverse characters I portray.

How would you describe your personal style and what makes it unique?

My personal style is an eclectic blend of comfort and bold experimentation. I enjoy mixing elements traditionally seen as feminine with masculine attire, creating a look that’s distinctly my own. This approach allows me to express myself authentically and challenge conventional fashion norms.

Fashion accessories that make you stylish?

A well-chosen pair of sunglasses, a statement watch, minimalist jewellery, a classic handbag, and a versatile scarf are accessories I often incorporate to elevate my outfits.

Tell us about your upcoming projects

I am very excited about “Ul Jalool Ishq”—it’s a beautiful, rich love story. I am also wrapping up “Matka King,” which is a larger-than-life story about a man who found a loophole in the system and made the most of it.

How do you pick roles?

I believe in pushing boundaries and continually seeking roles and styles that challenge me. It’s about seizing opportunities that allow for growth and working with directors who see potential beyond what I might see in myself.
