Video: Courageous villagers save dog from being killed by giant anaconda

Anacondas are among the most terrifying and lethal predators as they are capable of crushing the toughest prey. But sometimes kindness and courage can bring hope in the face of horrifying attacks.

A heart warming video from Brazil has found a lot of appreciation online as it shows villagers rushing to the aid of a dog attacked by a large snake. The canine can be seen wrapped by an anaconda on a riverbank as it was being crushed to death.

The villagers can be seen holding the snake by its tail and pulling it out of the water. They drag it on the grass and one man also tries to pull the dog out before another decides to hit it repeatedly with a stick.

The anaconda finally releases the dog after a few whacks as it starts running around barking at the predator.
