Candle-lit dinners are passé; if you want to try out something different then why not dine at an underwater restaurant? Yes, India can finally boast about having its first underwater restaurant – in Ahmedabad.
Real Poseidon, which is built 20 feet below ground level, offers its diners an amazing view of over 4000 different fish species all around it. Its menu features only vegetarian food in various cuisines like Indian, Thai, Chinese and Mexican. So, yes the fish are only for looking. The 1,200 square feet tunnel-based dining hall can host around 32 guests at a time.
Real Poseidon is the brainchild of an Ahmedabad-based businessman who came up with the idea while talking to his son about it, according to ANI.
