“Truth be told, I’m a daddy’s girl but mum has been my guiding force all my life. Since we’re all busy doing our own thing, I think it’s important to pull out time and break away from the daily rut. We’re taking off to Coorg and it’s going to be a private dinner specially for mum. This has been a family ritual, and has taught me the importance of family bonding irrespective of the day or occasion.”

In my life, she was the one who initiated me into music when I was inside her womb. Today, music has become my life, and I owe it to her for having passed positive vibrations to me since the first minute of my existence. I don’t believe in special days, but yes, I hope to spend more time with her.”

“My equation with mum is as regular as it gets. While I’m in the midst of a shoot in Mysuru, I plan on getting back to town (Bengaluru) and spending quality time with her. It’s going to be a home bound sort of an affair, as my mum loves to spend time indoors with her family. But I’ve promised myself to get better at prioritising. That’s a promise!”
