Find your life purpose
Today, more than physical suffering, the world faces a threat of existential neurosis — a condition when the brain begins to deteriorate and life becomes unbearable because of boredom due to lack of meaning in life, due to an absence of purpose. This creates a vacuum in one’s existence which often leads to depression and drug addiction, a situation quite prevalent with the children. If you are bored with your work and lack energy in your daily life, it is probably because your work does not move you. You may not have aligned your work with your inborn talents and passions. It’s time to assist you in making this alignment to enable you to experience life in the way it should naturally be experienced by you. The two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose is, but if you don’t know what your purpose is then you don’t know why you are here, and it can be hard to keep going.
Purpose is the reason you were born. It is the dish of life that you should relish. Until you make peace with your purpose, you may never discover fulfillment in your work or contentment with what you do. Why? Because purpose defines your contribution in life. Purpose does not mean winning an Oscar or coming up with a world-shaking invention. Well, it only boils down to a simple truth, — we all just need to feel that we matter. That’s all. Everyone is gifted in some or the other way (if you deny this fact, it might be because you have never focussed on your strengths; you might have always focussed on your weaknesses). The truth is that we could be performing a talent so ‘effortlessly’ that we tend to forget that we have it. In reality, that is exactly what your natural ‘gift’ is. But since it comes so easily to you, you unintentionally start thinking — “This is so easy, hence, it must be easy for everyone.” And that’s when we under-estimate our own worth.
Remember, if you are literally working for a living and not enjoying what you do then even if materialistic success may be well on your way, you will still feel unfulfilled and incomplete. On the other hand, when you start to use your creatively unique talents to match up to the needs of your fellow human beings then wealth will flow spontaneously. And ironically, you won’t really bother about your wealth at all, for when you are doing what you love, you have already been paid back with a gift of enjoying every single moment of your life. It does not matter who you are and what your age is. If you are breathing, God’s focus is still on you.
We can’t think our way into our life’s passion and purpose, we have to do our way in. This means taking steps towards what you want, and removing those things in your life that you don’t want. If you are looking for your purpose and passion, stop looking and start doing. A clearly defined purpose provides meaning, direction and significance from the inside. Your life purpose answers two essential questions: who do you want to be? And what do you want to do? Think and find out your life purpose. All the best.
