Woman claims she saw ghost of her dead dog outside living room window

In a bizarre incident, a pooch owner convincingly claims to have seen the ghost of her great dane in her living room curtains just weeks after he passed away.

The woman, Michelle Creighton, 44, has struggled to come to terms with the loss of her six-year-old dane Oakley who passed away in April.

However, the dog-lover believes her late pal was not far away when she saw his spectre on the living room curtains one evening weeks after he passed away.

Despite the sight being eerie to some, Michelle found great comfort in seeing her dog on the curtains and believes that it proves his presence is still with her.

Speaking to the media, Michelle, from Canada said that when she first saw the shadow she thought her eyes were playing tricks on her.

"But then it clicked and I couldn't believe how much it looked like my great dane, Oakley. I quickly took some photographs because I didn't think anyone would believe me!” she added.

Despite her initial shock, Michelle explains that the sighting has brought her comfort since - as she believes it shows her dog is always around her.
