An exclusive fashion show by three international designers and the launch of a limited edition Rolls Royce car are amongst the highlights for a grand 40th birthday party for Sudha Reddy on November 24. The fashion designers, including Italian designer Giambattista Valli, will be coming to India for the first time for the event.
To mark the occasion, Sudha Reddy, who has a degree in fashion and a keen interest in interior design, has done-up her house in classical European style. “We have invited around 300 guests for a sit-down dinner at the Hitex,” Sudha, who is known to go the extra mile to make her guests comfortable, elaborates.

“For the last 20 years, I have been celebrating my birthday outside India with family and friends, but this time it’s going to be here in Hyderabad,” she adds. Guests will be treated to a sumptuous spread under the keen eye of Ritu Dalmia who will personally take care of the food and beverages. The celebrity chef is known for her Mediterranean cuisine and preference for Italian flavours.
Sudha Reddy donated to international actress Liz Hurley’s charity for her birthday celebrations in Paris last year.
Without divulging her outfit for the grand celebration, Sudha says, “I haven’t decided on my outfit, as I am looking for more options. But one thing is for sure, I will be wearing jewellery by Harry Winston.” Sudha celebrated her last birthday in Paris, where she donated generously to various charitable causes. Liz Hurley’s charity project was one such recipient.
