S.S. Rajamouli is the talk of the country post the success of both Baahubali films, as his appeal has elevated to a national level. Perhaps that’s why the Hyderabad Traffic Police has approached him to be a part of one of their upcoming programmes. A.V. Ranganath, DCP, Traffic-II, Hyderabad, met the director recently and invited him to be a part of it.
Confirming the same, Ranganath shares, “Yes, we did extend an invitation to him. But we aren’t keen to talk about it yet. We will reveal everything when the time is right.”
However, a source tells us, “While I don’t know what the nature of the campaign will be, but I can vouch for the fact that the traffic department wants to use Rajamouli’s ability to pull enough clout to spread awareness. We are a film-crazy city and a star’s voice always counts. With Rajamouli willing to be a part of the programme, the traffic department has elaborate plans.”
A formal launch will take place in the second week of July when the director will be a part of the event. The buzz is that Prabhas and Rana have also been approached to be a part of the campaign.
