Aruna and Mahila Morcha leaders hail appointment of Rekha Gupta as Delhi CM

Hyderabad: BJP vice-president D.K. Aruna and Mahila Morcha state president Shilpa Reddy hailed the appointment of Rekha Gupta as Chief Minister of Delhi, and called it a big move by the Narendra Modi government to empower women.

Aruna said that people from Delhi have faced trouble during the 10-year rule by the AAP government and expressed hope that the people from Delhi get relief under the Rekha Gupta government. Aruna thanked Prime Minister Modi and BJP president J.P. Nadda for selecting a woman as Delhi Chief Minister.

Mahila Morcha members celebrated the event at the state party office at Nampally. Former MLC N. Ramchander Rao, BJP general secretary Bangaru Shruti, GHMC deputy floor leader Radha Dheeraj Reddy and other district leaders took part in the celebrations.
