Arvind Kejriwal, Wife Sunitha visit Tirupati Balaji Temple
Tirupati: Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal offered prayers at the sacred temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on Thursday morning. This marked Kejriwal’s first visit to the revered hill shrine.
Kejriwal, accompanied by his wife, participated in the VIP break darshan, which the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) facilitated. The TTD authorities extended a warm welcome and organised the darshan arrangements. After the prayers, temple priests performed Vedaaseervachanam for the dignitaries at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. The TTD officials also presented Kejriwal with sacred offerings of Lord Venkateswara.
Speaking to the media after the darshan, Kejriwal said, “Today, I have come with my wife to seek the blessings of Tirupati Balaji. This is my first time visiting here. I prayed for the well-being of all and for the prosperity of our country, especially Delhi.”
