Balakrishna criticised for his action against Jr NTR flexes
VIJAYAWADA: Gudivada YSRC MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao has said Junior NTR has nothing to lose, no matter what games Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu play. He was reacting to the removal of Jr NTR flexes at NTR ghat on instructions from Balakrishna.
“Balakrishna is removing them because Junior NTR's influence is growing. He wants to support his son-in-law, Nara Lokesh,” he said.
Tension prevailed at Gudivada when Kodali Nani along with his supporters and YSRC leaders went to the NTR Stadium. Telugu Desam leaders and cadres also reached the stadium.
The police put up barricades to stop both TD and Jana Sena cadres, but the leaders with their supporters overran the barricades and reached the stadium. The police shifted Kodali from the stadium after he paid tributes to the NTR statue at the Gudivada NTR stadium. The situation was later brought under control.
Kodali Nani, while paying tributes to NTR's statue, claimed that NTR died of mental agony caused to him by son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu. “Now, he is trying to gain political mileage by praising him.”
He criticised the TD leaders for using NTR's death anniversary programmes for votes.
Objecting to the removal of Jr NTR’s flexes at NTR ghat by Balakrishna, Nani expressed his dissatisfaction with Balakrishna's actions. “Balakrishna is responsible for bringing down the senior NTR in the past.”
Junior NTR went first to pay his respects at NTR Ghat. Later, Nandamuri Balakrishna and his family members paid their tributes. However, in a viral video, Balakrishna is seen asking those around him to go and remove the flexes set up in the name of Junior NTR.
MLA Nani, who spoke about the change of seats for elections by YSRC president and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, said Jagan Reddy has kept aside only those who were not working. “Should tickets be given to the same leaders every time,” he asked.
He said Kolusu Parthasarathy was sidelined but asked him to stay in the party. How many people in TD have not been changed,” he asked.
Didn't Chandrababu go from Chandragiri to Kuppam? Did Lokesh ever play marbles in Mangalagiri since his childhood? So far four people have changed in Gudivada.”
Kodali Nani made sharp comments on Chandrababu's meeting in Gudivada. “From where do lakhs of people come to Naidu's meeting,” he asked and said TD leaders arranged only 5,000 chairs for the meeting. So, how could there be lakhs of people attending the meeting, he asked.
