Anakapalli: A horrifying daylight heist occurred in Anakapalli, leaving people stunned and authorities on high alert. Two armed assailants attacked a welfare assistant and a digital assistant who were riding a scooter from Nakkapally to Rajiyapet, transporting a considerable amount of pension money for distribution. The crime happened on Hetero Road, and the thieves used pepper spray to knock out their victims before fleeing with Rs 13 lakh.
The victims, who were in charge of distributing pension payments to eligible individuals, had just taken a large sum from a local bank when they were ambushed by the bandits.
Despite being terrified by the encounter, the victims swiftly reported the incident to local police. Anakapalli Police officials promptly registered a report and launched an extensive investigation following the incident.
