Woman hits husband with crowbar in Andhra Pradesh

KAKINADA: A woman in Andhra Pradesh hit her husband with a crowbar on Sunday after a quarrel arose between the two over money.

The woman, B. Lakshmi, is from Lakkavaram village in Jangareddygudem mandal, Eluru district. Her husband, Yedukondalu, is a lorry driver.

According to Lakkavaram sub-inspector D. Uma Maheswara Rao, Yedukondalu earned Rs.10,000 and gave it to his wife. However, a quarrel arose between them, and Lakshmi hit him with a crowbar in a fit of anger.

Yedukondalu was admitted to the Area hospital. Lakkavaram police registered a case against Lakshmi.
