Hyderabad Youth Murdered in Narsapur, Family Suspects Multiple Offenders
HYDERABAD: Syed Numan, 26, resident of Tolichowki in the city was found murdered at Narsapur of Medak district on Wednesday. Police said Numan was stabbed multiple times with a sharp weapon. Based on a driving licence found in his pocket, police identified Numan and informed his family members in the city. Narsapur Circle Inspector Lal Madhar said that they suspect Numan’s accomplice’s role in the murder and special teams have been deputed to nab the suspect.
Inquiries revealed that Numan’s family has recently shifted from Borabanda to Tolichowki. On Tuesday afternoon, Numan, who is now working as a delivery agent, had a quarrel with his accomplice identified as Faroorq, who works as a driver. During the quarrel they fought with each other. Alerted by locals, police arrived at the spot and shifted them to Borabanda PS and from there they were sent for medical examination.
Numan was sent to Gandhi hospital and Farooq was sent to Government hospital at SR Nagar and then referred to Gandhi hospital for better treatment. At Gandhi, both saw each other and quarrelled. Further, Farooq sought a compromise, after which they came out of Gandhi hospital and Farooq made Numan to consume liquor heavily. He then hired an auto rickshaw to take them to Narsapur. Enroute, Faooq also picked up a sharp knife from his home in Borabanda and both went to Narsapur, where Farooq killed him.
Meanwhile, Numan’s family said that after the argument on Tuesday, Farooq’s elder brother Jilani along with his friends came there and beat up Numan severely. “Jilani and his associates were also involved in the murder. Only if CCTVs and other details are investigated properly, then the truth of what exactly happened and in which vehicle they took him to Narsapur, will come out. They also should be arrested and punished,” said Numan’s Father Syed Mahmood. Inquiries revealed Jilani is an old offender and has an active rowdy sheet against him in Hyderabad.
