Hyderabad: Kukatpally police investigating the case of an unidentified woman's body found in a gunny bag on Tuesday suspect that the body, which was highly decomposed, was dumped at the spot two days back. The victim could be from a nearby locality, said police, while not ruling out a sexual assault. They said she could have been killed by persons known to her.
Police also said that the victim’s face was disfigured as the upper portion of the body in water near the Manjeera pipeline in Rajiv Gandhi nagar.
Since the spot where the body was found is an isolated area, police are verifying CCTVs located on the route and in the nearby apartments.
Meanwhile, look-out circulars have also been circulated to all neighbouring police stations.
