Disha police asks errant husband to behave upon receiving SOS in Nandyal

KURNOOL: A woman village volunteer working at Srisailam sachivalayam sent a Disha SOS on facing harassment from her husband.

The incident occurred within the Srisailam Two Town police station limits in Nandyal district on Saturday. The woman complained that fuelled by suspicion, her husband has been harassing her.

Soon after the Disha police received the SOS, they arrived at the scene and gathered relevant information. Both the husband and wife received counselling from the police.

Srisailam police warned the husband, identified as Sharif, that if he continues to harass his wife, strict action will be taken against him.
