A man was booked for removing a dagger while dancing at a pub at Banjara Hills. By arrangement
Hyderabad: A man was booked under the Arms Act for flashing a dagger while dancing at a pub in Banjara Hills on Sunday.
According to the police, the person, identified later as G. Sampath of Banjara Hills, was drunk and suddenly removed the dagger while dancing. There were over 25 customers on the dance floor
Few noticed the dagger and one of his friend reportedly asked him to put it away. But the incident was captured by the CCTV cameras. On getting information of the incident, police checked the CCTV footage and identified Sampath, arrested him and seized the dagger.
“We booked Sampath under the Arms Act and are investigating,” said Banjara Hills inspector M. Narender.
