Pak National's Arrest: NIA Gathers Info
Hyderabad: Days after the Hyderabad police arrested a 24-year-old Pakistan national, Faiz Mohammed, for illegally entering India and staying in the city, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is understood to have initiated an inquiry into the issue by collecting details from the Hyderabad police.
The police had arrested Mohammed, a native of Swat, Shangal district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in the Old City.
He had met with Hyderabad resident Neha Fatima, 29, of Asad Babanagar, Kishanbagh, in Sharjah and helped her get a job as a tailor. They married and had a son. Last year, Mohammed came to Hyderabad from Pakistan via Nepal to stay with his family.
It was reported that the NIA officials allegedly collected Islamic Republic of Pakistan passport no. KBO167301 of the Pakistan national, his Pakistan identity card B. No. 15502-8339730-7 issued on May 8, 2017, having validity up to May 8, 2027.
The NIA also seized a copy of his Aadhaar enrolment form (No. 0012/13201/03377) through which he was trying to get an Aadhaar card here. Based on the details, the agency officials allegedly initiated an inquiry to get more details about Mohammed to establish his motives.
