Hyderabad: Police probing the armed robbery at Mahadev Jewellers in Nagole suspect that the accused were involved in thefts at Jubilee Hills and Narayanguda a few days ago.
The suspects in the Narayanguda incident snatched a bag containing approximately 20 tolas of gold jewellery from the workers of a jewellery store and fled.
In the second offence, the suspects followed employees of another jewellery store from Panjagutta to Jubilee Hills Road 45, stealing their bag. That bag was empty.
Both suspects were riding a motorcycle, with the rider wearing a helmet and the pillion rider covering his face with a scarf. The city police who are investigating these two cases have also joined the investigation of the Nagole robbery because the pattern appears to be similar.
Going by CCTV footage, the police also said the body language of the suspects had similarities.
"With the exception of the use of firearms in the Nagole robbery, all other aspects are similar," they stated.
