Three NDPS drug manufacturers arrested Rs 50 lakh worth NDPS drugs seized

Hyderabad: The Anti Narcotics Bureau (TS-NAB) and Suraram police arrested three persons involved in manufacturing synthetic drugs and seized Rs 50 lakh worth of narcotics from their possession, including 60 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 700 ml liquid methamphetamine.

The accused were identified as Kamma Srinivas, 40, G. Narasimha Raju, 42, and Datla Manikanta Veera Venkata Nagaraju, 32, all from Andhra Pradesh, and were waiting for customers at Suraram when they were arrested on Saturday night. Police officials later raided their godown in Suraram and seized the equipment used to manufacture the narcotics.

TS-NAB SP G.Chakravarthy said Srinivas had been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in 2017 with 10.9 kg of methamphetamine. After release from prison, he teamed up the other two and procured equipment to manufacture the drugs. The trio had prepared and sold 6 kg methamphetamine in crystal form during the past two years, Chakravarthy said.
