Female teacher in love with her 16-year-old student elopes with him, traced
HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old teacher and a 16-year-old boy, her student, who were missing for 21 days, were found to have eloped and staying at a residence of the teacher’s relative, the police said. They were counselled and sent back to their respective families.
The police said that the teacher and her Class X student were in a relationship for eight months. “The two were in love, decided to run away and stay together. As the student is a minor we counselled him, his parents and also the teacher,” an inspector involved in the case said.
The boy’s parents had lodged a kidnapping complaint against the teacher with the Gachibowli police on February 16, while the teacher’s parents filed a missing person’s complaint with the Chandanagar police and the school.
