Vijayawada: In a swift timely response, Disha police of NTR district saved a minor girl from her stalker within the Ajith Singh Nagar police station limits on Sunday.
According to police, the minor resides with her parents in colony at Ajith Singh Nagar of Vijayawada. A local youth Lallu, hailing from Nunna near Vijayawada, had been stalking her in the name of love.
Lallu continued harassing her despite even though her parents had warned him.
On Sunday, the stalker arrived at the house of the minor while her parents had gone out on work. Fearing danger, the minor girl informed her parents who called police through Disha SOS app.
When Lallu saw the police and locals approaching, he escaped from the spot. Ajith Singh Nagar police have registered a case against the stalker under IPC section 354D and are searching for him.
