Kurnool: A 27-year-old man, Maddileti, died after accidentally falling into a well in Joharapuram village on Tuesday. Maddileti was a daily wage labourer who went to the well to get water when he slipped and fell.
Nearby villagers heard his cries for help and rushed to the scene. They tried to rescue him, but he was unconscious by the time they pulled him out of the well. He was rushed to the government hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Local police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
