Hyderabad: The Income Tax (I-T) department on Wednesday conducted raids on the Bengaluru-based real estate firm Puravankara Limited in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other places on alleged tax evasion.
The Puravankara Limited’s office is located at Pillar No. 293, PVNR Expressway, Rajendranagar in the city. Puravankara Limited is also taking up a commercial project in Hyderabad. Puravankara Limited is taking up a project -- Purava Summit, a commercial office space is under-construction on Whitefield-Kondapur, Hitech City Phase II.
Sources said that the I-T sleuths conducted raids at Puravankara Limited offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore and other locations.
