26-year old man shot dead at Tappachabutra
Hyderabad: A 27-year old man was shot dead at Karwan under Tappachabutra police station in the early hours of Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Akash Singh alias Chotu. Two persons allegedly fired multiple shots at Akash Singh. Police detained the two suspects identified as Kranthi Sagar, a realtor and Chander who is into private finance business.
Police suspect old enmity between the victim and the accused for the murder.
According to police, there used to be disputes between both parties over financial issues. When they met in Karwan in the early hours of Wednesday, an argument broke out between them, following which the suspects pulled out their weapon and shot at Akash Singh, killing him on the spot.
Police found that the suspects had procured the country-made fire arm along with ammunition from Bihar around six months ago.
The body has been shifted for postmortem examination and additional force has been deployed in Karwan as a precautionary measure.
