Hyderabad: A salesperson working in a garment store at Tolichowki under Film nagar PS, attacked a customer on Tuesday, after the latter objected to the salesperson abusing other customers.
The victim identified as Bilal Khan, 30, received injuries on his head. On his complaint, Film nagar police registered a case and started an investigation.
According to police, Bilal, an advocate from Attapur, along with brother went to the store. While in the process of purchasing a T shirt, Bilal noticed the accused salesman abusing another customer. He and his brother intervened and asked the salesman to not use abusive language against the customer.
Enraged with this, the accused picked up an iron handle used for arranging clothes and attacked Bilal on the head, injuring him. As Bilal raised an alarm, he fled from the store.
SHO Film Nagar MGS Ramakrishna said that a case under 324 of the IPC is registered against the accused and a hunt is on to nab him.
