Hyderabad: The LB Nagar special operation team arrested Vatin Ahmed, 28 of Jharkhand and Salam Ansari, 37, of Adibatla for transporting ganja from Jharkhand into the city. Another accused, ‘Vakee’ is still at large. Police seized 142 one-kg packets and four mobile phones.
Hyderabad Police Arrest Two Collection Agents with Unaccounted Rs 35.50 Lakh
Hyderabad: Shahinayatgunj police arrested two collection agents, Rohit Giri, 22, and Hameed Ullah, 48, for possession of '35.50 lakh which was not backed by documents, during a frisking operation in Puranapul, Jumerat Bazaar on Wednesday. During the operation done under the direction of southwest DCP Kiran Khera, police nabbed Giri, who was carrying Rs 18 lakh on his bike. The rest was recovered from Hamidullah’s house in Musheerabad.
Four Arrested in Hyderabad for Hookah Flavour Theft Worth Rs 2.30 Lakh
Hyderabad: Abids police arrested four persons for stealing hookah flavours and recovered Rs 2.30 lakh worth loot from their possession. The gang use to break open the shutters of hookah parlours and steal the material. The accused were identified as gang leader Mohammed Irfan, who has a criminal record, Mohammad Sohail, Mohammad Masood and Mohammed Athar.
