Hyderabad: The cyber crime police of Rachakonda traced a missing 16-year-old when he opened his Instagram account.
According to the police, Dosapati Nivas Goud, an Intermediate first year in Narayana College at Hayathnagar, went missing. His parents lodged a complaint with the Rachakonda police.
The cops booked a case and began investigations. They noticed that his social media account was active and used that information to zero in on him at Padmarao-nagar.
They found that he had started working in a hotel. Nivas said his parents had refused his requested to stay at home and go to college as a day scholar. He was forced to stay in a hostel and study, which he did not like.
He had run away from home to avoid going to a hostel, he said.
