COIMBATORE: As many as four teams were formed to nab the accused involved in the murder of a 20-year old student a native of Oddanchatram village in Dindigul who was pursuing her second year B.Sc. Mathematics programme at a private college here and their efforts were successful with the arrest of one of the suspects, Sathish Kumar.
“Based on technical and human intelligence, within 15-hours of finding the body, we have secured one suspect Sathish Kumar, who was known to the victim. When we interrogated him, he confessed having murdering her,” SP Sujit Kumar told DC on Sunday evening.
