Banda: A six-year-old girl was raped allegedly by her uncle in Tindwari area, the police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Sunday when the girl was taken away by her 19-year-old uncle Shailendra.
The FIR in the matter was registered by the victim's mother and the girl was sent for medical examination, which confirmed rape. Police are trying to trace the accused, who is absconding.
