Hyderabad: A 21-year-old man who was forced to perform unnatural sex by his friend attempted suicide at his house in Hayathnagar. He died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
Police said his friend Mohammed Ameer had been forcing him to have unnatural sex since 2020. He had refused and had complained to the village panchayat in Shantinagar, Pedda Amberpet, on July 1, 2020.
The panchayat heads warned Ameer not to talk to the victim; if both were seen together, the matter would be reported to the Hayathnagar police, sources disclosed.
Later the victim got married but Ameer for the past one month was constantly harassing him to have sex with him. Vexed over his harassment, the victim ended his life, police said. Police registered a case abetment to suicide under Section 306(a) of the IPC and under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act against Ameer and produced him before the court.
