KAKINADA: Sripathi Malleswari alias Madhu, 24, who went missing on Friday, was found dead in the canal bund near the Savaram village dumping yard adjacent to Amalapuram town in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Sunday.
Amalapuram DSP M. Ambika Prasad said that Madhu had left her husband some
years ago. Later, she entered into a live-in-relationship with Gadi Nagababu
alias Chinna, 26 who had left his wife in the past. Chinna and Madhu had a
baby girl three years ago. They stayed in Hyderabad for some time and
returned to Amalapuram.
The DSP said on Friday, July 7, Madhu’s father lodged a complaint with
Amalapuram police about the disappearance of his daughter. The father told
police that Nagababu had informed him about Madhu disappearing. Nagababu
then left the three-year-old girl with Madhu’s father.
After police found the decomposed body of Madhu in canal bund, Amalapuram

investigating.
Ambika Prasad said the cause of death will be established after receiving
the report of the post-mortem on the body. He said the case is being
investigated from all angles.
