Gold and cash were looted not from shops but from individual homes, which shows that the miscreants knew the social background of the families living in the colonies where the communal clashes took place.
Hyderabad: Two unidentified bike-borne persons robbed a man and made away with a gold chain, bracelet and some cash in Attapur in the wee hours of Wednesday. Rajendranagar police booked a case.
Police said that around 2:30 am on Wednesday, the two men waylaid the
victim, Santosh, at Attapur while he was heading home and robbed him at
knifepoint.
“Following a complaint from Santosh, we have booked a case and started
probing. Enquiries revealed that they were on a sports bike. The rider had a
full-face helmet on while the man in the pillion seat wore a surgical mask,”
said the police.
