Police Case Registered Against IPS B Naveen Kumar's Son in Alleged Land Grab
HYDERABAD: The Jubilee Hills police registered a case against Sanhith Bhatt, son of senior IPS officer Dr B. Naveen Kumar, and served notices on him on Friday in connection with an alleged land grab case filed by former IAS officer Bhanwar Lal.
The Hyderabad Central Crime Station is investigating a case against Dr Naveen Kumar, former joint director of the TS Police Academy, on charges of creating fake documents and forging signatures to grab a house at Prashasannagar in Jubilee Hills which is owned by Bhanwar Lal.
The case was registered against Sanhith Bhatt after a complaint from Lal’s wife Mani Lal. alleging that when she went to the house on Thursday, her obstructed her using bouncers, threatened her of dire consequences and abused her.
Jubilee Hills station house officer P. Raveendra Prasad said that police have issued a notice on Sanhith for further investigation. Meanwhile, Dr Kumar has been attached to the DGP Office in view of the case against him, which is under investigation.
