Hyderabad: The Income Tax department officials on Wednesday conducted raids on the office of the Tollywood producer Abhishek Agarwal, who produced several films including Kashmir Files. The IT officials allegedly found violations in connection with filing Income Tax Returns (ITRs) and alleged tax evasion.
Ahishek Agarwal is producing the Tiger Nageswara Rao film starring Ravi Teja and the film will release in a week. A team of IT officials conducted raids on the film producer's office and inquired about the investments in the film industry. It was reported that the IT officials obtained details of Abhishek Agarwal's sources income for the past few years and filed ITRs.
