Hyderabad: Allegedly harassed by her husband and in-law at her alleged inability to conceive, 22-year-old woman died by suicide, Borabanda police said on Saturday. Police said the victim, Uday Shree, died at her house in Saibabanagar, Borabanda.
Police said Uday Shree had married Omkar in 2020. For the past eight months Omkar, reportedly supported by his parents, was returning home in drunk state and was abusing her for not conceiving.
Polcie registered cases for subjecting to cruelty and abetment to suicide and started investigations.
