Tipper catches fire in Nandyal
Kurnool: A tipper truck involved in National Highway construction work narrowly escaped major damage after catching fire on Monday. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Atmakur town in Nandyal district.
Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical short circuit caused the fire. The tipper came in contact with overhead power cables, resulting in sparks and the ignition of flammable materials within the vehicle.
Highway personnel witnessing the incident acted swiftly and alerted the Atmakur fire station. A fire engine promptly arrived at the scene, and the firefighting team successfully extinguished the blaze before it could spread further.
