KAKINADA: A retired veterinary doctor died on Friday after a car, reportedly owned by MP of Rajahmundry M. Bharat, ran over the motorbike at Seethampeta in Bhimadole mandal in Eluru district. Death was instant for Srungavruksham Narasaiah, 65, who was riding the bike.
According to police, Narasaiah was travelling to Bhimadole on his bike and when he reached Seethampeta Crossroads, the car hit him from the rear side and he died on the spot. “It is yet to be ascertained about the ownership of the car,” Denduluru police station sub-inspector I. Veerraju said. Further probe is underway.
