Three attempt to kidnap infant in Jagtial
KARIMNAGAR: Three unidentified bike-borne persons tried to kidnap a 20-month-old infant from a house at Manneguda village of Bheemaram mandal of Jagtial district on Saturday.
According to the police, three unidentified persons noticed the baby, Navya Sri, playing in front of her house. Navya Sri is the first child of Bagoji Naresh and Swetha.
While two persons were waiting at the corner of the street on their two-wheeler, the third person reached the baby and picked her up and he started moving towards the bike. As the baby started crying, her mother Swetha, who was in the kitchen, heard it and rushed out of her house and found the baby being taken away by the kidnapper. Then, the mother started chasing him by screaming for help. When two alert locals tried to nab the kidnapper, he left the baby on the road and fled with the other associates on the bike.
