Kakinada: The Peddapuram 7th Additional Session Court Judge Nikhitha R. Vora sentenced a man named Sheik Abdullah to 7 years in jail on Tuesday for the murder of Shaik Naguru Saheb.
The case dates back to January 29, 2014, when Abdullah owed Saheb '200. Saheb attacked Abdullah, who was injured seriously. A case was registered against Saheb.
On January 29, 2014, Saheb came out on bail and abused Abdullah. Abdullah hit Saheb severely, who died on the spot at Vadlamuru village of Peddapuram mandal.
The wife of the deceased, Shaik Mosa Bibi, filed a complaint with the police. The then sub-inspector Siva Krishna and the circle inspector K.V. Satyanarayana registered a case.
The prosecution proved the case with strong evidence, and the judge imposed jail on Abdullah.
