KENDRAPARA: A woman hailing from Kankadia village in Odisha’s Kendrapara district was tied up to a tree and beaten up for three hours by her neighbours for no fault of hers, reports said on Monday.
Sabitri Rout was on Sunday was dragged out of her house by her neighbour Sanjulata Jena after her cattle entered into their garden. She was tied up to a tree and beaten up mercilessly by Sanjulata and her son for nearly three hours before being rescued by the local police. The mother-son duo refused to give her water during the three-hour ordeal, reports said.
