Avinash Reddy's plea rejected, told to appear before CBI court on May 19

Hyderabad: In a shocker to YSRC MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, the CBI officials rejected his plea seeking four more days to appear before the court. He has been asked to appear before the court for interrogation on May 19.

It is being said that Avinash skipped attending the court fearing arrest today. As per the schedule, the MP was supposed to appear before the CBI this morning. However, the MP’s lawyers submitted a request letter seeking four-days time.

The MP is accused of involvement in the brutal murder of his uncle and former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.

According to information, the MP is 45 km away from Hyderabad and basing on the decision of the CBI he is likely to change his plans to go to Pulivendula, where he is scheduled to attend a couple of programmes.

It is learnt that the CBI served notices to the MP and asked him to appear before the court but that he changed his mind in the last minute, to buy more time.

Meanwhile, there is information that the programmes in which the MP was supposed to take part have been cancelled.
