Police sources said that relationship issues could have driven the girl to take this extreme step.
Madurai: A 24-year-old engineering graduate, Ezhil from Anuppanadi committed suicide allegedly due to harassment he faced from a private agent involved in collecting pending education loans, at Madurai on Friday.
Ezhil had taken an education loan for Rs 1.90 lakh to pursue his engineering course. He had completed the course a year ago. The private agent involved in collecting the loan amount is alleged to have harassed him, claimed his parents.
Unable to withstand the harassment, he took this extreme step, they said.
However the police said they are yet to ascertain the real motive behind his death.
