Wife files abuse case against constable

HYDERABAD: A constable’s wife lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hills police against her husband for allegedly harassing her mentally and physically. Monika stated in her written complaint that she was two months pregnant and her husband Nagulapally Rajesh had intentionally beat her leading to abortion.
Nagulapally Rajesh, who is posted in Banjara Hills PSD, is being questioned. Monika is undergoing treatment in Neelima hospital in Sanatnagar. On being called to Jubilee Hills police station, Rajesh came in an inebriated condition and allegedly tried to burn his leg before senior officers. “We received a complaint from Monika Sunday night. We are investigating the facts of the case,” said V. Rajshekar, Jubilee Hills sub-inspector.
